Police rescued a six-month-old baby girl and two young boys in a police operation against online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC) in Barangay Tambacan, Iligan City.

The rescue was carried out by members of the Task Force OSAEC of the Iligan City Police Office (ICPO) alongside other law enforcement units. Officers served a warrant to search, seize, and examine computer data (WSSECD), which led to the arrest of a 21-year-old woman and the confiscation of various electronic devices.

Police have not confirmed the woman’s relationship to the rescued children. Investigators said the victims include a six-month-old infant allegedly being offered online and two boys, aged six and four, who were found to be at risk.

Forensic examiners said the gadgets seized during the operation contained possible child sexual abuse and exploitation materials (CSAEM), based on an initial onsite analysis.

The ICPO Task Force OSAEC stressed its resolve to pursue justice for the victims and to strengthen efforts against exploitation. Authorities vowed that those responsible will face legal consequences without exception.

It further emphasized the police commitment to accountability and protection, saying they will use all available legal measures to safeguard vulnerable children and ensure perpetrators face the full weight of the law.
